How to get there?
Start at Castle Road layby
Start your journey at the layby next to the road, which is the closest parking area to the Beach.

Follow the Footpath
From the layby, follow the SW Coast Path to the right of a stone wall. The footpath is well-trodden but isn't signposted . You will be walking through overgrown woodland and uneven ground.
Descend towards the Beach
As you continue along the footpath, you'll eventually reach a point where you'll see steps down towards to beach.

Navigate to Sugary Cove Beach
The footpath will guide you towards Sugary Cove Beach. You'll likely need to navigate a narrow path that winds through the bushes and leads you down to the shoreline.
Arrival at the Beach
Having effectively followed the pathway, you will reach the awe-inspiring Sugary Cove Beach. Allow yourself a moment to absorb the beach's magnificence, its tranquility, and the captivating turquoise waters.
Remember these important points:
The path can be challenging, so wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for some uneven terrain.
The descent can be steep, so if you have mobility concerns, it's a good idea to assess whether the walk is suitable for you.
Make sure to check the tide times before you visit, as the beach is only suitable for swimming 2 hours either side of high tide
