Song Of The Sea Cave

Nanjizal Beach, also called Mill Bay Beach, is a secluded and beautiful cove on Cornwall's southwest coast, known for its golden sands, clear waters, and striking rock formations like the "Song of the Sea" arch. It's often considered one of Cornwall's hidden gems due to its relatively remote location and limited accessibility.

The "Song of the Sea" cave is a natural rock formation on the beach. It's usually found by walking along the shoreline to the west (left as you face the ocean). Keep an eye out for distinctive rock formations, arches, and caves in the cliffs.

You can only visit this cave on calm days and usually at low tide

Remember these important points:

  • The path can be challenging, so wear sturdy footwear and be prepared for some uneven terrain.

  • Remember that natural conditions can change, and tides can affect the accessibility of certain areas, so it's a good idea to check local tide times and conditions before you go.

  • Additionally, respecting the environment and following any posted guidelines will help preserve the beauty of the area for future visitors.
